6thStreet is a leading fashion and lifestyle e-commerce platform in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. It offers a wide range of products, including clothing, footwear, accessories, and beauty items from leading international brands.

The platform is part of Apparel Group, a major retail conglomerate in the region.

After the booking attempt, the system will wait for 2 minutes to verify the payment and confirm the seat.

  • If the payment or booking is unsuccessful, the user will be presented with options to:

    1. Retry with the same seat

    2. Select a different seat on the same bus

    3. Choose a different bus

Objective

  • Increase the number of users who transition from the Product Description page to adding items to their cart, enhancing the overall conversion rate.

  • Encourage user engagement and conversion rates through new feature additions, which are crucial to initiate the intention to purchase.

  • Increase the number of users who transition from the Product Description page to adding items to their cart, enhancing the overall conversion rate.

Problem Statement

  • The "Size Help" section currently occupies excessive space in the first fold of our product pages, This layout disrupts the user journey by forcing customers to scroll for critical details and purchase options, potentially leading to frustration and drop-offs.

  • Lack of clear product information, and insufficient urgency triggers

  • Users get confused when a T-shirt is shown in a full-body image with other items, unsure if the entire outfit is included.

Solution

After the booking attempt, the system will wait for 2 minutes to verify the payment and confirm the seat.

  • If the payment or booking is unsuccessful, the user will be presented with options to:

    1. Retry with the same seat

    2. Select a different seat on the same bus

    3. Choose a different bus

Old vs New

The Product Detail Page (PDP) plays a critical role in converting product discovery into purchase intent. At 6thStreet, the earlier PDP design provided essential information but lacked clarity, confidence-building elements, and a strong visual hierarchy.

Success Metrics

Final metrics after the redesign

After the redesign, metrics were analysed with a sample of 10,000 users. The results showed a significant improvement in the Add-to-Cart rate, increasing from 25.8% to 33.7%—an 8% uplift. These gains were achieved in the first phase of the redesign, with further improvements planned in the second phase.

Next Step

Sections like 'Brands' and 'Recently Viewed' can be monitored for frequent customer usage. Based on the insights, they can be prioritized differently or even eliminated if found to be underutilized.
